On Monday, 20 swifts overhead - Tuesday, 16 swifts overhead- Wednesday, one swift feeding and two others silently flying south. Yesterday, I saw and heard no swifts. Our beautiful swifts have left us and it's all over for another year. They are on their way back to their home in Africa. Let's hope they have a easy journey and return safely to us next year.
