I spotted this little pink grasshopper on my allotment a couple of days ago. I think it's a meadow grasshopper which would normally be green and brown. Fairly unusual I think and believed to be a genetic mutation. Obviously not a good colour for camouflage though. Interesting that it was sitting on a plant with pink flowers and pink tips to the leaves. Was it trying to hide??
