Lawn to wildflower "meadow"

I stopped mowing my front lawn this year and attracted some interesting invertebrates such as grasshoppers and even Common Blue butterflies.I harvested the yellow rattle seeds in late July and then in September, after the one cut of the year, I dug up the turf, as you can see.In mid October, having got advice and bought a wildflower mix from Goren Farm, sowing took place.
