If you have a bee hotel and it can be easily removed from the wall, it is a good idea to put it (the whole bee hotel) into a dry, cool place for the winter. Cold weather is not a problem but persistent damp may damage the eggs. My bee hotel is safely stored in my shed. It can go back out in early Spring.
